RoughRiders Hand Bucs 3-0 Loss The Des Moines Buccaneers were defeated by the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders 3-0 tonight at 95KGGO Arena. The Buccaneers, who are the highest scoring team in the USHL have been shutout in their last nine periods of play. As of late the puck hasn’t been making its way in the net for the Bucs, but it hasn't been because of the limited number of shots. Tonight was a prime example as the Bucs out shot Cedar Rapids 43-19. The Bucs are now tied for first place with the RoughRiders in the Eastern Division. The Bucs return to action tomorrow as they travel to Tri-City for a 7pm game. The Bucs stay on the road and travel to Sioux Falls on Sunday for a 6pm game. The Bucs return home Friday, January 27 to take on the Indiana Ice at 7:30 at 95KGGO Arena. It's Buccaneers Trading Card Night presented by Mercy Medical Center. The 1st 500 fans receive a set of Buccaneers Trading Cards. |
