Bucs Raise Money for Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Iowa Last night, the Des Moines Buccaneers teamed up with Mama Lacona's to help raise money for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Iowa. Buccaneer players waited tables and all the tips collected were donated to the Boys & Girls Club. They helped raise $1,781 in tips. The customers were treated to a great meal at Mama Lacona's, got to interact with the Buccaneer players and also generously gave to a good cause. The event was a success and the Buccaneers organization look forward to continuing the event for many years down the road. View Photos |
