Bucs Win Game One of the
April 22, 2006 Tonight at 95KGGO Arena the Des Moines Buccaneers defeated the Sioux Falls Stampede 2-0. The victory gives the Buccaneers a one game lead in the best of five championship series. The Buccaneers were lead by the sensational goaltending of Troy Davenport, who stopped all 20 shots he faced to secure the shutout. Aaron Bendickson struck first for the Buccaneers at 9:04 in the first period. The goal, assisted by Aaron Palushaj and Colin Vock, proved to be the difference. Rich Purslow added an insurance goal 12:59 in the third period to secure the victory for the Buccaneers. The Clark Cup Finals continue next Wednesday April 26, in
