Bucs Beat Ohio 3-1 The Des Moines Buccaneers topped the Ohio Jr. Blue Jackets 3-1 tonight in 95KGGOÂ Arena. The Bucs started out the game with an early goal by forward Andrew Olson just 5:44 into the game. Ohio tied the game up on a Zac MacVoy goal at the end of the second period. The Bucs then took the lead on two goals from Jeff Petry and Chris Knowlton to seal the victory. The Bucs next action is tomorrow Saturday, January 6th against the Ohio Jr. Blue Jackets. Game time is 7:00 pm. It is Bobblehead Night; the first 1,000 Bucs fans receive an official Coach Regg Simon Bobblehead. Return to News and Press Release page |
