Ben Ryan Receives Offensive Player of the Week

Des Moines Buccaneers foward Ben Ryan has received the USHL Offensive Player of the Week honors for his achievements over the most recent road trip to Sioux Falls and Indiana this past week. Ben recorded an amazing eight points in three games. On January 10th at Sioux Falls, he recorded one goal and three assists for four points in the shootout loss. Also during the weekend trip to Indiana, Ben totaled another goal and three assists in the two games against the Ice.

Ryan, a Brighton, Michigan native, has tallied nine goals and 31 assists, giving him 40 points in his second season with the Buccaneers. He is third in total points in the league with 40. Ben will be attending University of Notre Dame next season on a hockey scholarship.
