Bucs Split Weekend with Ohio
March 12, 2007

It was the case of two extremes for the Bucs this weekend as they traveled to Columbus to take on the Ohio Jr. Blue Jackets on Saturday and Sunday night. Saturday night's game was the first time the Bucs were held without a goal this season as the Jr. Blue Jacket piled on six goals in the final two periods for a score of 6-0 to give the Bucs their worst loss of the season. Sunday's game portrayed a much better Buccaneers team as they came away with a 2-0 victory to snap their three game losing streak. Kyle Bailey and Shane Sims tallied the goals in the game as Matt Dalton stopped 22 shots in his fifth shutout of the season.

The Bucs are in action again Friday, March 16 as they take on the Sioux Falls Stampede at 7:00pm at 95KGGO Arena. It is Des Moines Register Family Fun Night - 4 Tickets, 4 Hot Dogs, 4 Sodas and 4 Autographs for $44. "Buc" Hot Dogs for ALL and FREE Public Skate following the game.
