The Des Moines Buccaneers announce today that defenseman Andrew Krelove has committed to Bowling Green University for the 2007-08 season.  Andrew is the 17th Buccaneer to commit to a Division I college hockey program this season.

Krelove, a Thunder Bay, Ontario native, finished his second season with the Buccaneers.  He was a key component to the 2006 Clark Cup National Championship team as he was brought in via a mid-season trade and filled the void left by season-ending injuries that depleted the defensemen core.  During the past two seasons, Andrew tallied 15 points on one goal and 14 assists in 86 games.

"Andrew deserves to be going to a great school and program like Bowling Green," said coach Simon.  "He spent the last year and a half working towards earning a scholarship and all of that dedication has now paid off."
