The Des Moines Buccaneers were able to top the Waterloo Black Hawks tonight at 95KGGO Arena by a score of 4-2. The Black Hawks jumped to a 2-0 lead in the second period, but saw the Buccaneers come back to score four unanswered goals. Forward Andrew Blazek scored first for the Buccaneers to make the score 2-1. Forward Chris Knowlton was able to tie the game late in the second period on a penalty shot. Forward Ryan Walters recorded the game winning goal in the third period. Forward Rody Selk then added an empty net goal to put the game out of reach.

The Buccaneers next action at 95KGGO Arena will be the home opener on Saturday, October 6 at 7:00pm. There will be a pre-game tailgate before the game. For tickets call 515-278-9757.
