Tonight's home opener at 95KGGO Arena between the Buccaneers and the Tri-City Storm will be concluded at a later date. The officials stopped the game with 16:25 left in the third period due to the ice conditions. The Storm were leading the Buccaneers 2-1 before the game was suspended. The game will be finished at a time that has yet to be determined.

Tri-City got out front first with two goals in the first period by Jordan Willert and Mike Cichy. The Buccaneers Derek Elliott got his second goal of the season on a powerplay in the second period to make the score 2-1. Goaltender Joe Rodwell had 15 saves for the Buccaneers.

The Bucs are back in action next Saturday, October 13 against the Lincoln Stars. The Minnesota Vikings Cheerleaders will make a special appearance to 95KGGO Arena.
