USHL, B2 Extend Agreement
October, 17, 2007

GRAND FORKS, N.D.: The United States Hockey League announced today that it has extended its agreement with B2 Networks as the league’s provider of broadband audio and video content. Terms of the new, three-year contract were not disclosed.

“The USHL has been thrilled with its relationship with B2 Networks through the first two-plus years. They have a passion for the game and a vision that matches that of the USHL, and we are pleased to have them and their innovations on board for years to come,” said USHL president Gino Gasparini. “B2 Networks made a statement to USHL ownership that they were in it for the long-term by sponsoring our Player of the Year award. At that time we thought it was appropriate to discuss an extension of the agreement, and fortunately for both sides, we were able to make it come to fruition.”

Both the USHL and B2 Networks have worked to upgrade their systems, making viewing for the 2007-08 season the best it has been since they partnered their resources to bring broadband video of all league games to the Internet in 2005.

“The USHL proved to be an incredible partner over the past couple of seasons, and their enthusiasm about continuing the partnership makes us very proud to announce the extension of our agreement,” stated Richard Brosal, B2 Networks Executive Vice President for Business Operations and Marketing. “Fans have come to expect a high-quality product on the ice from America’s only Tier I league, and we are excited to work with the USHL to continue to bring that product into the homes of hockey fans all over the world.”
