Buccaneers Flattened by Storm

The Buccaneers and the Tri-City Storm took the ice for two game tonight at 95KGGO Arena. The two teams finished their game from October 6 which was suspended due to inclement weather. There was 16:25 left in the game and Tri-City was leading by a score of 2-1. The Storm were able to hold of the Buccaneers to get the win as the final stayed at 2-1. Derek Elliott was the lone goal scorer in that contest dating back to October 6 when the goal was recorded.

For the regularly scheduled game, the Buccaneers were unable to get the puck past Tri-City goaltender Aaron Rock as they were defeated 3-0. Rock made 27 saves for the shut out. Fredrik Bergman got the start for the Buccaneers and had 22 saves.

The Buccaneers will be back at 95KGGO Arena on Friday, November 9 as they take on the Green Bay Gamblers. Elvis will be in the building and will be preforming a post-game concert in Blackbeard's Lounge following the game. There will also be a post-game party at Chili's following the game as the Booster Club will be celebrating player birthdays from the months of November and June.
