The Des Moines Buccaneers were defeated by the Green Bay Gamblers tonight with a score of 3-1. Nielsson Arcibal scored the lone goal for the Buccaneers in the first period.  Green Bay went ahead 2-1 in the third period and later added an empty-net goal with 2.9 left in the game to seal it.

Tomorrow night, the Buccaneers will take on the Lincoln Stars at 95KGGO Arena. It will be T-shirt Giveaway Night and the first 1,500 fans will receive a free Buccaneers T-shirt sponsored by Coca-Cola. It will also be Student Night – students will get in for half price with a valid student ID. Following the game, there will be a game-worn jersey auction of the Buccaneers’ red jerseys.
