Bucs Lose Shootout Thriller

The Buccaneers lose to the Waterloo Black Hawks tonight 2-1.  The Hawks got on the board at the beginning of the second period on a short handed goal by Paul Weisgarber.  The Buccaneers, Rody Selk, scored a third period goal to tie the game at one. After a scoreless overtime period the game went to a shootout.  The Buccaneers were outscored in the shootout 2-1 and Waterloo scored the victory.  

Next week, the Buccaneers travel to Sioux City to take on the Musketeers on Thursday, November 22nd and to Tri-City to take on the Storm Friday, November 23rd. The Buccaneers will finish the weekend at home on Saturday, November 24th against the Sioux Falls Stampede. Saturday night will be a Des Moines Register Family Fun Night - 4 tickets, 4 hot dogs and 4 sodas for only $44 & $1 hot dogs.  After the game all fans are welcome on the ice for a free public skate.
