Des Moines Buccaneers "Stick with Reading" Program
The Des Moines Buccaneers recognize the importance of reading. More than that, we recognize the fun of reading as it stimulates our imagination and provides relaxation. We’d like to help spread the fun of reading and of course, hockey, to kids around Central Iowa! This program is geared towards promoting good reading habits among students in kindergarten through fifth grade by utilizing Buccaneer player visits and opportunities to win prizes! It is a community service program intended to improve the continued goodwill in our community through the spirit of hockey.
With the season at an end; please check back during the summer for the 2010 - 2011 sign up sheet and more information!
