The Bucs came back ready to fight for a win in Tri-City. The Bucs had a power play chance seconds into the first period, but the tight Storm penalty kill held them off. A scoreless first period ended with six shots-on-goal for Des Moines and ten shots for Tri-City. 

The first goal of the game and only goal of the second period, came from a Storm power play with the Bucs in the box for too many men. The period ended with Des Moines taking six more shots-on-goal to Tri-City’s 14.

The third period brought two more power play opportunities for the Bucs, but Sergeev and the Storm defense held them off again. The final goal of the game came with just over one minute left to play. Des Moines had ten shots-on-goal to end the period with 22 for the game. The Storm outshot the Bucs with 13 shots-on-goal for the period and 37 in the game. 

In his first start with Des Moines, Carson Limesand had 35 saves on 37 shots. In a penalty kill improvement from Friday, the Bucs held off four out of five Storm power play chances. The Bucs are looking to find balance with multiple injuries taking out key players. 

The Bucs are back home on Friday, November 26th to take on the Dubuque Fighting Saints then take a trip to Dubuque to play the Fighting Saints once more on Saturday, November 27th.
